Biography: Chong Wong is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Monash University. Prior to joining Monash University, he was a Research Engineer at CSIRO (2008-2017), Research Fellow at Monash University (2006-2008) and Research Associate at The University of Adelaide (2004-2006). Dr. Wong received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (2005) and his B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering (1999) from the University of Adelaide.
Dr. Wong has participated in projects related to sensor development for various fluid flow applications (e.g. oscillating jets, solid particle erosion, fluid tracking). He was also involved in the initiation, development and delivery of various commercial oil and gas projects while working as Research Engineer at CSIRO. Dr Wong has authored papers in many top-tier engineering journals like Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Experiments in Fluids, Journal of Wear, Experimental Thermal and Fluid Science.
